The Ruby Racers
In Selleo we have quite a big group of people who are interested in automotive. It is no surprise that such group likes gokart racing from time to time.
At last we have sunny days in Bielsko-Biała! As usual some of us start to complain that “it is too hot”, but others, like: Szymon Kieloch, Błażej Kosmowski, Tomasz Borowski and I (once again as the photographer) went to nearby sports center Solar.
will start with a bold statement: there has never been a better time to use “Ruby on Rails”. Recently, we have witnessed two major releases of the Ruby programming language and a web development framework, which we know of as Ruby on Rails (versions 2.0 and 4.0, respectively).
In my opinion the best known example of a company which lets their employees work on “personal” projects, is Google. This “Internet juggernaut”, encourages its engineers to take 20 percent of their time to work on a personal project, which is company-related and is of personal interest.
Another great event just behind us. On the 27th March we met in Rybnik to discover the best way to build a collaborative team. This time we had an opportunity to participate in workshops focused on soft skills development and listen to some amazing lightning talks.
The idea of the digital changing things sounds hardly impressive for both professionals and common users of the countless number of electronic devices, gadgets and applications which have actually become part and parcel of our lives and are simply here to stay.
